Brown runs a 4.47 40-yard dash at 190lbs and is a force to be reckoned with on the field… Marcus spent some time talking with us about his upcoming season and what he hopes to accomplish in the near future.
This summer Marcus has spent time working on his game as a whole, focusing on each and every aspect from tackling to having the proper stance. Marcus believes there is always room to improve and continues to work on everything he can, day in and day out. On top of working with the team during summer workouts Marcus is also spending time with a trainer at a local gym and putting in the extra work he needs to be at the highest level.
This summer Marcus and the team from Raytown South have been building team chemistry and plan to put the best product possible on the field this coming fall.
Looking towards playing college ball Marcus has been having a great time throughout the recruiting process and according to him it is “mind blowing speaking with coaches he’d never thought he would hear from.”
Marcus has seen interest from Illinois State, North Dakota State, Iowa State, Missouri State, and LSU among others.
Although the dream of playing college ball is not far off for Marcus this upcoming season is coming up first. Marcus hopes to break the school sack record which he has been eyeing since his freshman year and hopes to continue with success in the recruiting process.
